Delphi Medical at The Pavilion

About Us

A stunning eighteen bed residential detoxification, wellbeing and
dependency centre situated in picturesque private grounds, on the outskirts
of Lancaster, with good access from the M6.

The Pavilion is accessible to patients aged 18 years and over, delivering
personalised and structured detoxification programmes, personally tailored
to each individual.

Health, wellbeing, and personal empowerment are at the forefront of every
programme, delivered in individual and group settings by trained medical
and therapeutic professionals, with all services reflecting best practice,
meeting CQC standards.

A combination of clinical and therapeutic services are delivered to safely
support patients’ detox, whilst also addressing the contributing factors
which have led to their dependence.

“Building is great and the food is fantastic! Morale is always high, felt medically

safe and the activities are fun. Staff are all amazing and the chef is brilliant”

Detoxification

Detox is the first step into abstinence from drugs or alcohol, and can be a
daunting decision for patients.

The Pavilion provides a safe and effective in-patient detox from both drugs
and alcohol through medically assisted withdrawal.

Single and multiple detoxification services are available for the following
substances:
• Illicit drugs (opiate and non-opiate based)
• Alcohol
• Psychoactive substances
• Over the counter medication
• Prescription medication

“Just to say once again, thanks for everything. I could not have had better care,

compassion and commitment from everyone of the staff. In my opinion they

go above and beyond what is expected of them. Absolutely fabulous in every way,

I enjoyed the experience very, very much”

Clinical Programme

Following admission, patients will complete the Clinical Programme.

Carried out by nursing staff and trained support workers, this programme
includes:
• A health and wellbeing assessment
• Blood borne virus screening
• Immunisations
• General health care needs
• Preventative first aid measures
Each month, the Pavilion focuses on a different health promotion strategy;
these include a range of topics such as healthy lifestyles, smoking cessation
and naloxone training.

“I can honestly say that I have enjoyed every moment of my time spent at

The Pavilion. The staff have been amazing, thoughtful, attentive, caring and

always there whenever I needed to talk. My room was comfortable and spotless

clean and I always had fresh bedding and towels daily.

The Pavilion has set me on the right path to feeling positive not anxious

about moving on to rehab. Thank you everyone”

related topics including:

support and care that has been provided during my detox, and also thank you to

the chef who is amazing. The staff at The Pavilion have treated me and all the other

patients with respect, which in my book goes a long way. Many thanks”

Admissions

The Pavilion accommodates patients with dependency to all substances,
with each patient’s individual situation reviewed at the free initial
assessment process. This determines the duration of stay and ensures
all of the patient’s needs are discussed and understood by the Pavilion
Staff Team.

On arrival at The Pavilion, patients undergo a full medical assessment
from a qualified Prescriber and Nursing Team to ensure a clinically safe
and supported detox. A personal detox programme is created to address
the needs of the patient, and is closely monitored, reviewed, and modified
throughout the duration of their stay.

The Nursing Team are on duty 24 hours a day to support patients and
monitor any changes in physical health during detox.
